In addition to serving as Science Faculty and Curriculum Advisor for Steward, Jen is the Director of our nature center on the property. Prior to her current role, Jen taught in public schools for over 8 years and was a semi-finalist for the 2011 NH Teacher of the Year Award. She also taught environmental outdoor education for Nature’s Classroom, has been a private swim instructor, coached swim teams, and has worked as a liaison between families in crisis and community supports. Jen lives in town with her husband and their three children. One of her favorite outdoor adventures was a month-long 11,000 mile USA road trip.  She and her husband visited 26 states and 1/3 of the National Parks.
