Steward Outdoor School is a residential environmental science and outdoor education school for high achieving eighth graders and select seventh and ninth graders. Steward’s rigorous curriculum aligns with traditional academic courses while particularly focusing on hands-on environmental science and ethics.

Students will spend at least four weeks of each semester on outdoor adventure expeditions. Learning how to live in intentional community with a focus on sustainable practices is at the core of this program. Students will leave Steward with a stronger sense of self and be prepared to think critically, communicate effectively, organize themselves independently, and be the leaders and stewards of tomorrow.

Steward is a program of Incarnation Camp and Conference Center, a non-profit 501(c)(3) with a 130+ year legacy of delivering life-changing education, retreat and camping programs to thousands of youth and adults from across the country and around the world each year.
